The BTP card is a professional identification card. Employers are obliged to declare their employees carrying out building or public works work by providing them with a BTP card. If they fail to meet this obligation, employers will face administrative fines, the amount of which has recently doubled.

In fact, following an order dated 21 August 2019 (in French), the ceilings for this administrative fine have been doubled, rising from €2,000 to €4,000 per employee. In the case of a repeat offence, the legislation provided for a fine of €4,000 within one year of the first offence. This amount rises to €8,000 within 2 years of the first offence.

Our 100% online secondment management service, ASD SPW, allows you to purchase BTP cards for your employees directly online. Our services will take care of managing the procedures for obtaining the cards from the authorities on your behalf.

Remain compliant with regulations and avoid the risk of administrative fines and penalties in the event of failure to obtain a BTP card.
