Rennes introduces the Crit’Air sticker

Reading time: < 1 minute

From the moment the traffic restrictions are announced, on the 4th day of the pollution peak, vehicles without a sticker will be banned from driving in Brittany’s capital. On the 6th day of pollution, traffic will be banned for vehicles with stickers 4 and 5.

What is the Crit’Air sticker?

The Crit’Air sticker, also known as the “air quality certificate“, is a sticker to be affixed to the windscreen of your vehicle, indicating the pollution level of the vehicle in question.
There are 6 levels of sticker, ranging from 1 to 6, with level 1 being the least polluting and level 6 the most polluting.

What are the penalties?

Travelling with a vehicle without a Crit’Air sticker or with an unauthorised sticker is therefore prohibited during traffic restrictions, and the owner is liable to a €68 fine.
